Assam Minister Ashok Singhal actively participated in the Viksit Bharat Sankalp Yatra held in Biswanath Chariali, Assam’s Biswanath district, on Monday. During the event, the minister engaged with beneficiaries benefiting from various welfare schemes initiated by the Government of India, carrying forward Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s commitment.

Expressing the significance of the Viksit Bharat Sankalp Yatra, Ashok Singhal emphasized its role as a transformative catalyst for positive change, embodying Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s vision of a developed and inclusive Bharat. He underscored the yatra’s goal of fulfilling the aspirations of every Bharatiya.

The program saw the presence of MLA Bihali Ranjit Dutta, MLA Biswanath Pramod Borthakur, the Mayor of Biswanath Municipality, the Deputy Commissioner of Biswanath District, and members of self-help groups.

In a parallel development, Prime Minister Narendra Modi, during the ‘Viksit Bharat Sankalp Yatra’ in Barki Gram Sabha, Sevapuri block, reiterated his commitment to empower two crore rural mothers and daughters in the country, aiming to make them self-reliant and transform them into millionaires. The Prime Minister honored millionaires Chanda Devi and Manisha Devi during the event.

Union Minister Sarbananda Sonowal described the Viksit Bharat Sankalp Yatra as ‘Modi Ki Guarantee’ toward a new Viksit Bharat.

Notably, Prime Minister Narendra Modi, through video conferencing, interacted with and addressed beneficiaries of the Viksit Bharat Sankalp Yatra. The event also witnessed the Prime Minister flagging off the yatra in Rajasthan, Madhya Pradesh, Chhattisgarh, Telangana, and Mizoram.
